Today Archos announced the successors to the popular Generation 8 series tablets. Two new models were unveiled, the 801 G9 Tablet and the 101 G9 Tablet.

Hong Kong-based Xtreamer has announced a successor to their Sidewinder media-player. The Sidewinder 2 has upgraded internals (Realtek 1185), Gigabit LAN, built-in wifi with external antenna (previously an optional extra) and USB 3.0 ports.
